How to export your data
Follow the steps below. Takes less than 5 minutes.
Access your profile and go to Accounts Center
Open Instagram on your phone. Tap your profile photo, then tap Edit profile.

Inside Accounts Center, scroll to Your information and permissions.

Tap Download your information.

Tap Create a download.
Create a downloadSelect your Instagram profile
Select your Instagram account (not Facebook).
Select profile → InstagramDownload to device
Choose Download to device.
Download to → DeviceCustomize — select ONLY Followers and Following
Uncheck ALL items. Check ONLY:
Selecting fewer items = faster export.
Date range — 'All time'
For the date range, select All time.
Date range → All time⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT: A short date range will result in an incomplete analysis.
Format — JSON is required
Select JSON. HTML format is not supported.
Formato → JSON / Format → JSONOnly JSON works. If you exported HTML, please redo.
Start the download
Confirm and tap Create files.
Confirm → Create filesWait for Instagram's email
Instagram will send an email when the files are ready. This can take up to 48 hours.
Request now and come back when you get the email.
Upload the files here
Extract the ZIP and locate followers_1.json and following.json. Upload both files.
